Welcome to our Year of Divine Empowerment for Perfection. Heb. 13:20-21; 1 Peter 5:10

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!! We all made it to year 2026.

Happy new year to all members of Faith Care Christian Ministry International (home and abroad). I am glad to declare and testify that God has been good to us.

Let me seize a brief moment to once again thank every individual that allowed God to use him or her to make a huge success of our 6th Anniversary (Dec. 18-20, 2025). May you all be victorious in all ways in Jesus name.

2026 is the 7th year of the existence of this ministry and as echoed in the last 6th Anniversary, this 7th year is the real beginning of the manifestation of God’s purpose and works commissioned into our hands.

That we may do His will and record abounding success to the glory of His name. 2026 is the year to work in God’s divine empowerment and to arrive at God’s intended perfection.

GOD WILL EMPOWER WHAT HE HAS ORDAINED Heb. 13:21 – “Make you perfect in every good, work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight.”

As we step into the year (7th Year) God’s agenda is not merely survival but perfection.

Perfection here does not mean flawlessness, but spiritual maturity, completeness, absolute conviction, stability, loyalty to common goal and fulfillment of divine purpose.

The journey into perfection is impossible by human strength, it requires divine empowerment “Not by might, not by power, but my spirit says the Lord.” Zach. 4:6

2. What is Divine Empowerment?

It is the enablement of God’s Grace and Spirit that gives believers the ability to:

Live victoriously
Grow spiritually
Conscious of God-given assignment
Fulfill divine assignments
Overcome obstacles.
Finish well and strong

Phil. 2:13, Phil. 4:13

Truth: God never demands what He has not empowered.

3. What’s Biblical Perfection?

It means:

Spiritual maturity (Heb. 6:1)
Christlikeness (Rm. 8:29)
Wholeness & stability (James 1:4)
Completion of God’s work in us (Phil. 1:6)

Matt. 5:48 – “Be ye perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (NIV)

Why do we need Divine Empowerment for Perfection
Human strength WILL fail. Psalm 127:1
The Christian race is demanding. Heb. 12:1
Spiritual growth requires Grace. 2 Cor. 12:9
Perfection is a process. 2 Peter 1:5-11

5. Channels of Divine Empowerment in 2026

The Grace of God Titus 2:11-12: God does not excuse sin, He empowers godly living.

The Holy Spirit Act. 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23. The Holy Spirit empowers us to overcome the flesh and walk in maturity.
The Word of God 2 Timothy 3:16-17. The Word perfects, equip and build believers.
Prayer and Fellowship Jude 1:20-21

6. Manifestations (evidences) of Divine Empowerment for Perfection

Consistency in faith.
Victory over besetting sins.
Growth in love for Kingdom assignments.
Christ-like conducts.
Spiritual maturity and stability.
Fruitfulness in ministry and personal life – Colossians 1:28 “… that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

Closing Prayer

In this year 2026:

You will not stagnate
You will not fall short of God’s purpose.
Grace will be available and empower you to finish strong
You will be free from afflictions and sorrows
You will be empowered to be complete in all spheres of endeavour

In the third quarter of 2019, Pastor Felix Akintola and Deaconess Bolajoko Akintola graduated from the Baptist College of Theology in Lagos. Responding to God’s call, they established a Christian Care Ministry to reach out to widows, the elderly, and the needy outside the Christian community. The training they received at the college equipped them for this task of caring for souls and expanding the kingdom of Christ.

Running a Care Ministry requires significant resources and manpower, which initially posed challenges. However, they witnessed God’s hand at work as people started coming forward to support the ministry with both resources and manpower. This reaffirmed their calling and strengthened their faith.

Despite the obstacles, Pastor Felix Akintola and Deaconess Banjoko Akintola remained committed to their mission. They relied on God’s guidance and provision, trusting that He would sustain and bless their efforts. With the support of others and their dedication to making a positive impact, they were determined to bring hope, salvation, and the love of Christ to those in need through their Care Ministry.

Rotary Club of Lagos-Palm Grove Estate in Collaboration with Faith Care Christian Ministry International presents Supernatural Touch & Medical Outreach to the Ibeshe Community which was instituted with a dedication to providing care and treatment to the Elderly, young adults, and children in need. This outreach indeed aimed to make a positive impact on the lives of as many that encountered the program.

Through our efforts and the Lord’s backing i.e. making available medications, shelter, supernatural intervention, etc. we were able to bring joy, support, and assistance to the Elderly, Young adults, and children at Ibeshe Community.

By our efforts and the Lord’s assistance a medical outreach program was conducted the day before the anniversary service day—providing medicine, shelter, supernatural intervention, etc.—we were able to provide the elderly, young adults, and children at Shangisha, ketu Community with happiness, support, and help.

Our Outreach to Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Centre was a remarkable achievement. The Modupe Cole Memorial Child Care and Treatment Centre is an institution dedicated to providing care and treatment to children in need, and our outreach aimed to make a positive impact on their lives.

Through our efforts, we were able to bring joy, support, and assistance to the children at the centre.

Gone are the days when everyone had to rely on the dirty river as their primary source of water. Now, with the borehole in place, the residents have access to a reliable and clean water source. Faith Care Christian Ministry International is proud to have made this transformation possible and remains dedicated to creating a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. Together, we are changing lives, one vital resource at a time.

We are excited to announce that Faith Care Christian Ministry International has successfully completed the construction of a six-block classroom at Baptist Day Primary School in Igbotako, Ondo State, Nigeria. With the new classrooms, we aim to enhance the educational experience of the pupils, enabling them to thrive academically and fulfill their potentials. We are grateful for the support and contributions that made this project possible and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the pupils and the community as a whole.

A Block Of 6 Classrooms

Faith Care Christian Ministry International constructed and donated 6 blocks of classrooms to this community.

Various Madical Outreaches

Faith Care Christian Ministry International has organized and still organizing various medical outreaches where Free Medical tests and Free eye tests are conducted. Free medicines and glasses were distributed on many occasions to the beneficiaries.

Mission Partner With Nigerian Baptist Convention

The Nigerian Baptist Convention’s Global Mission Board recognized our efforts towards Mission with this Award of Honour. Glory be to God!

Tʜᴇ Vɪsɪᴏɴᴇʀ

Pastor Felix Akintola is an Alumnus of the University of Lagos where he obtained B.Sc. Education; M.Sc. Industrial Psychology, LL.B and BL at the Nigerian Law School Lagos. Responding to the call of God upon his life to gospel ministry; he had Theological and ministerial training at the Baptist College of Theology, Lagos.

He is the current chairman of the Board of Trustees of Lagos East Baptist Conference.

He is a corporate lawyer and a minister of the gospel. Together with his wife- Bolajoko, they are the Coordinators of Faith Care Christian Ministry International.
